Centsible Nutrition at the Food Bank
The Lander Care & Share Food Bank was the recipient of the University of Wyoming’s Centsible Nutrition Program’s “Champions of Change Award.” Centsible Nutrition Program Educator Rebecca Green presented the award to the Food Bank’s Director, Audrey Krise, “in recognition of their commitment to building a healthier community through efforts that support better nutrition and physical activity.”
Rebecca Green prepares recipes using the Lander Care & Share Food Bank’s commodity items. Each month Becky provides tastes as well as copies of the recipes the clients can make with items they receive at the Food Bank.
